In this article, we will see how to add a jquery datatable column filter dropdown on top. Here, we will learn how to add a dropdown filter on a specific column in jquery datatable. You can add multiple dropdown filters on the individual column in jquery datatable.
In jquery datatable, you can put the dropdown filter on the top header as well as put the dropdown filter on the bottom footer. The API is used to build the select inputs through the use of columns().every() to loop over the columns, then the column().data() the method is used to get the data for each column in turn.
